My Bio
I starting doing photography when I was 16 and I have now been practising photography for 8 years. I started one summer on holiday just taking pictures of interesting things I saw. It was that summer that I fell in love with photography, and since then I have been photographing the world around me at every opportunity!
Making stuff has always been a big part of my life. Having learnt to sew, knit, paint and draw as a child, creativity is something that I live and breathe! And this comes across in my photography - I love to take the ordinary, everyday world and capture it in a creative, interesting way.
Having grown up near the New Forest in Hampshire I had the perfect opportunity to explore my passion for photography. My initial interest started with botanical fine art imagery and, over the years, has extended out into a variety of areas in photography, portraiture and product photography in particular.

Beautiful work! If you don't mind me asking, what inspired you to start photography? 
Not at all!
To be honest, I have been creative all my life - drawing, painting, sewing etc. Being creative is something that is built into me I think so photography was kind of a natural progression really! However to answer you questions directly - there wasn't exactly a defining moment where I choose to start doing photography but I think when I got my first digital camera when I was 16, that summer while on holiday something just clicked (pun not intentional
) and I just fell in love with it. For me it has been a fascination, for so many years now (not far off 10 years!!) but it has also been my way of communicating with the world, with other people. Showing others what I see in the world around me. That is part of was keeps me doing it all this time. There has been a lot of things that have inspired me over the years that to pin point what originally inspired me into getting hooked escapes me after all this time! I hope that answers your question in not too long of a ramble!!
